when can we reap off the benefits
of things we worked for
that we ourselves arent sure
if they come from
the right source
to the right path?
do they fall from
the sky
or do they grow from soil?
are we gaining
things in our home
to our stomach
into the brain
flowing in our blood
feeding the soul
where do these things come from and
are we fighting for the right reasons
working in the right institutions
making a living in a better condition
where the war of the minds have
taken its toll
polluting purity
something that was once a living
has become ancient in receiving
a choice to be laughed and mocked at
the pure existence now
something just
not a way of life
not a way to make a living
not a way of choice
not an option
never a solution
purity has left the building
how we survive so misguided is a mystery.
